The inseam is only 26in, at least 4 if not 6 inches too short. Hiking pants should go OVER your ankles. These are basically capris. I usually wear men's hiking pants because I haven't found any women's that have the practicality and fit I want and while these fit better around the waist, it looks dorky and is completely impractical to have such short pant legs. If they ever amend these to make them a proper length I will happily stock up!

I am so pleasantly surprised with this pants. Yes they are shorter, I’m 5”5 and they are the perfect length to wear mid rise hiking boots with without cinching the bottoms, or cinch them and get more of a jogger look. I’m 5”5 and pretty evenly proportioned.

I wore these hiking in NM and it was some triple digit days and while I was hot the pants didn’t contribute much to that and seemed to breath well. They seemed to repel moisture well too.

Once there are more colors I’ll definitely buy more.

As far as sizing, im consistently a US 8 but a little bigger in the butt. I ordered large because I would prefer mobility and a little baggy than skin tight on the bottom.

The high rise made it perfect to wear a cropped tank top.

Great pants! I’ve been wearing nonstop. I’m 5’1 so no issues with length. I’m athletic build, size 8-10–I got a Medium. Fits just a touch snug around the waist but I’d rather that than too loose. My one complaint

Wowzaa, obsessed with these. To echo all of the comments below, these pants rock. The slight barrel/kick flare is soo so flattering, and the waistband is very comfortable due to the elastic backing. The fabric reminds me of OV Rectrek, stretchy and made to move. I also enjoy how all buttons/zippers are concealed, the look is super clean. I also love that they are convertible to joggers - I had no idea about this feature until I read some of the other reviews! The only issue I forsee is the belt system being a bit annoying when taking them off to use the loo.

While I love a good neutral, I would also like to see more fun color options in the future. Lavender, Chartruese, Cherry Red, Deep Turquoise?
